Employability problem was an issue which all partner countries were facing and looking for the better solutions even before the pandemic. Pandemic has changed a lot of aspect of our life. And not all of them in a positive way. It created a number of problems which we aim to solve through the outputs created during our project: – a lot of companies either closed down or cut down their personnel so a lot of people got unemployed; – a lot of people lost their jobs because their profession seized to exist. Here we are facing two different situations: one is cause by pandemic which changed our way of working and another is caused by climate changes, as in Portugal. The desertification of the areas led to the impossibilities of the farmers to work their lands, leaving them out of the labour market; – there was a huge and rapid shift towards electronic services that wiped out for good some traditional job areas. So, this created the need to re-educate these people to get new skills that fit the new needs; – telework is a new concept on our labour market brought as a result of pandemic. All these factors changed the requirements of today labour market and force us all to adapt our methods and strategies in accordance to these new requirements. By creating new methodological international resources, we aim to bring VET providers closer to the labour market. So, in this project we aim to create a new common effective international strategy to tackle this category of unemployment people and applying this strategy all together to reduce the unemployment in their areas and though in the EU. Studying the profile of the people who we consider to be the main beneficiaries of our project, we came to the conclusion that people who worked their entire life (short or long) at the same place and knowing only one occupation (miners, agriculture workers, cashiers), and suddenly left without it – can be, for sure, considered a category of people with reduced opportunities, they are marginalized by their inability to deal with modern requirement of the labour market, who need our help to be included back into the work society.
